Vietnamese brunch: your Sunday brunching just got way more exciting
Bánh Bánh: new Sunday brunch menu
Feeling a little done with smashed avo and toast? In search of something a little different for brunch? How about a Vietnamese brunch?
Popular Vietnamese Peckham restaurant Bánh Bánh have just launched a new Sunday brunch menu - and it sounds bloody delicious!
The new brunch menu will include Eggs Bò Né (£9.90) – a sizzling Vietnamese version of steak and eggs with beef steak, pate, grilled tomato and fried egg served with a warm baguette.
For veggies there is the veggie breakfast (£9.50) sizzling aubergine, fried tofu, fried egg, tomato, served with a warm french baguette.
The Sunday brunch menu also includes vegan options like the Bánh Xéo Sizzling Crepe (£8.90) – gluten-free crispy rice flour crepes filled with tofu, mushrooms and coconut cream.
Alongside their new brunch dishes Bánh Bánh will also be serving their classic Bánh Mì, Rice Bowls and Phở. Plus their delicious summer and spring rolls which now include a vegan option of tofu!
To celebrate their new brunch menu, they will be offering £5 brunch cocktails (woo). Choose from Mimosas, rum-spiked Vietnamese Coffee and the Bloody Mai which is a Vietnamese twist on a Bloody Mary – Gin, tomato, Sriracha and their Bánh Bánh secret sauce that gives it an umami kick… apparently!
