Enjoy your Christmas dinner at one of Peckham’s cutest bistros - Pedler. They will be serving up a gorgeously festive menu starting with a little aperitif like local Gin ‘Little Bird Gin’s G&T’ (£5) followed by a selection of starters to choose from including smoked salmon, prawns and sourdough, duck liver parfait and mains like roast turkey, veggie spinach and feta wellington and pain fried seabass. Of course, you have to finish things off with a gluttonous dessert like their triple chocolate yule log, choccie sauce and Christmas berries.

If you’re looking for a Christmas menu with a spicy twist then head down to Prince of Peckham for your Christmas dinner (they also have a real fireplace, for those cosy vibes) Their long-term residency chefs ‘White Men Can’t Jerk’ will be cooking up a Caribbean infused Christmas feast. Think jerk shrimp skewers for starters and smoked goat shoulder for mains, for vegetarian and vegan diners try the smoked cauliflower for your mains. All mains are served with all the Caribbean trimmings - rice and peas, roast potatoes, grilled corn, plantain, mac and cheese, greens, coleslaw and gravy. If after all that you have room for dessert you can tuck into a warm Jamaican ginger cake served with custard. Yum!

The Rye Pub
A hearty Sunday Roast is usually on offer at the popular neighbourhood pub The Rye, next to Peckham park. So it’s no surprise that they are cooking up a festive 3-course feast for £29 per person. Their Christmas menu offers quite the selection with 6 starters and 6 mains to choose from, like gin-cured salmon, crispy duck, or butternut squash soup for starters and for mains there is roast turkey & pigs in blankets, vegan wellington, Roast hake or Ribeye with a Béarnaise sauce. For dessert, they will be serving the classic Christmas pudding with brandy butter or if you fancy going off-piste pick the Morello cherry tart with coconut ice cream!
For those of you looking to dine out for your Christmas Day dinner, The Rye pub is open on Christmas Day and will be serving a 3-course Christmas Day menu for £70 per person.

Artusi
Local Italian-inspired, neighbourhood restaurant Artusi is celebrating Christmas with a five-course set festive menu from the 2nd until the 22nd December. Festive diners will enjoy an indulgent selection of dishes which include Campanelle, Sausage, Chestnut and Apricot Duck Breast, Parsnip Puree, Hispi Cabbage, Pickled Carrot and Chocolate, Cherry and Kirsch Tiramisu for dessert.
There is a separate five course vegetarian Christmas menu which includes dishes such as Taleggio and Cranberry Arancino, Tagliatelle, Truffle and Trompette and Delica Pumpkin, Radicchio, Tardivo and Pickled Carrot.

Hearty portions of meat are always front and centre at Coal Rooms in Peckham, so expect nothing less from their Christmas dinner menu. All dishes from the Coal Rooms Christmas menu are served sharing-style for the table, pick 2 starters like tempura, tender stem broccoli, smoked cod's roe and 1 main like Braised whole guinea fowl, wild mushrooms, wheat gravy for the table to share. There will also be a choice of sides for the table such as Pommes puree, onion gravy, Coal roasted Delicia pumpkin, gremolata, aged Wensleydale or Miso glazed hispi, puffed buckwheat, walnut. To finish things off, a nice classic sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream gelato.
There are also vegetarian & vegan options that will be served individually.
For groups of 8 or above, you can enjoy your Christmas feast in the private dining room. Ohh Fancy.
