Vegan restaurant: Naïfs
Peckham vegan and vegetarian restaurant Naïfs down Goldsmiths Road.
Naïfs a bistro-style vegan and vegetarian restaurant founded by former Vanilla Black chef Tom Heale, his partner Anne Stokes and two brothers Max and Finn are bringing fine-dining vegan and veggie cuisine to Peckham!
Naïfs is definitely a place that diners (veggie or not) looking for relaxed, high-quality veggie dining - should seek out.
Tucked down a residential road close to Peckham Library you will find Naïfs, a pared-back style restaurant with light wood furniture, soft lighting and a cosy atmosphere - making it the perfect ‘hygge’ hideout this Autumn.
Naïfs focuses on simple vegan and veggie dishes with elements of fine dining. Each dish has been carefully considered when it comes to concept, quality and taste. Expect dishes like aubergine fritters with honey and spenwood cheese (£7), mushroom broth and semolina dumplings (£10) and quince pavlova with lemon verbena and cassis (£5). There is an emphasis on seasonal produce and sustainability to ensure high-quality, locally-produced dishes.
There is also a fantastic drinks menu carefully crafted by mixologist Max. You will find local beers from Brick Brewery, sparkling ciders (which are surprisingly delicious), a selection of wines and cocktails - why not try a vegan bloody Mary (slightly spicier in taste than your non-vegan version)? They also offer an extensive range of quality teas - served in small infusion teapots and timers to ensure you get the perfect brew. Try Sobacha for a nutty sweet-tasting tea or treat yourself to refreshing Darjeeling tea for a non-alcoholic digestif.
Opening times: Wed-Sun, 6 pm - 11.30 pm (last kitchen orders at 9.30 pm).
