This weekend is all about PECKHAM FESTIVAL
Yesssss Peckham Festival 2019 is taking over Peckham this weekend (13th-15th September) and we are super excited!
Peckham Festival, a non-profit event was founded in 2016 to celebrate the creativity of Peckham. This wonderful festival is FREE and aims to promote artists, makers, creators and community groups of Peckham.
This year’s festival focuses on Peckham’s thriving local artistic talent, via ‘Made In Peckham, Artists’ Open Studios’. Which means you can have a peek inside over 80 artists studios who will be exhibiting their work in their own studios on and around Rye Lane; in Copeland Park & Bussey Building, Peckham Springs, Peckham Levels, the Arches Studios on Blenheim Grove and in several of the retail spaces on Rye Lane. Alongside this, a group of 20 artists will showcase their work at the Galleria on Pennack Road by Burgess Park.
There will be loads of local creators and artist with exhibitions and stalls where you can purchase their products. SouthEast15 will also have a stand on the Sunday outside in the sunshine, in Copeland Park - come and say hi! We will be selling merch from our shop plus some new prints…
Copeland Park will also be filled with performances, screenings, workshops and activities. We have picked out a couple below for you to check out:
