Peckham’s new and super stylish cocktail bar could be mistaken for a speakeasy, given you have probably walked straight past it. The CLF Art Lounge is the latest venue from The Chronic Love Foundation (CLF) - joining CLF Art Cafe and Rye Wax.
The CLF Art Lounge is hidden behind an inconspicuous black door about 10 metres from Peckham Rye Station’s main entrance (you could easily miss it). Behind the black door you will find a dimly lit staircase that leads to an absolutely gorgeous cocktail lounge. It has a real 1920’s retro vibe about it. The interior is charmingly antiquey, with dark wood, rich green walls, red velvet chairs and flatteringly lighting. At first glance, it feels rather opulent for Peckham, but the atmosphere is relaxed and chilled, very much a ‘lounge’ style bar.
The team describe the space as a lounge bar, meets supper club, meets cocktail bar, restaurant and entertainment space... The intimate it set up for live performances (think jazz evenings), cabaret and comedy.

In true Peckham style, this new bar has something else to offer…you guessed it, a rooftop bar! Situated on the second floor is a stunning roof garden. The CLF Art Lounge has teamed up with Hennessy to create a really cool rooftop bar that will be open all year round and will welcome a whole host of local and international artists to its stage.
Food wise, you can expect authentic Caribbean cuisine with a modern twist. As The CLF Art Lounge has teamed up with Hennessy then you can of course expect a selection of cognacs as well as fine champagnes, wines and spirits. The bar has a team of mixologists to mix up some classic cocktails - we are expecting a creative cocktail menu.
The CLF Art Lounge in Peckham would be the perfect venue for some sophisticated birthday drinks or if you want to show off to a date (we would be impressed).
