Head down to Jumbi - Peckham’s African-Caribbean hi-fi music bar and restaurant for an evening of music, poetry and performances raising awareness for the current situation in Iran.
‘From 7pm-12am, we hope to offer comfort and express solidarity with our siblings in Iran. Funds raised will be donated to the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO), based in the UK.’

About IKWRO:
IKWRO is a registered charity which provides advice and support to Middle Eastern, North African and Afghan women and girls living in the UK, who have experienced, or are at risk of all forms of “honour” based abuse, including; forced marriage, child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM), or domestic abuse. Working with women and girls of all ages, including lesbian women, bisexual women and trans women, offering services in Kurdish, Farsi, Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Turkish and English.
