Peckham gallery Juniper Woods will be showcasing work by artist Matilde Cerruti Quara’s WHEN THE GATES COME DOWN, SWEETIE, IT WILL ALL HAPPEN VERY FAST: a two-weeks long living installation opening on 7 February 2020 with the premiere of VERDIGRIS—a piece of experimental theatre and Cerruti Quara’s first play, choreographed by Leah Marojević with music by Delia Gonzalez. Full cast to be announced.

Matilde Cerruti Quara is a multimedia artist, poet and performer. Unwaveringly challenging paradoxes and the malleable border in between reality and fiction, Cerruti Quara’s practice explores language, identity, spirituality and systems of belief—with a focus on power dynamics.

Jupiter Woods is a female-led non-profit art organisation based in Peckham that commissions new work and supports research and experimentation by emerging and lesser-represented artists.
