An artist-led art exhibition: Where Are You Not

‘Where you are not’ is a new art exhibition opening next week at Copeland Gallery in Peckham.

The Copeland Park Gallery exhibition features work by 8 brilliant contemporary painters, photographers & sculptors explored through their use of the colour blue. The 8 artists include Tom Pope, Florence Sweeney, Tess Williams, Matilda Little, Katrina Russell-Adams, Maddie Rose Hills, Simone Mudde & Alexander Mourant - all of which have had exhibitions across the world at prestigious events such as Frieze & Unseen and featured in many international collections.

This is an artist-led exhibition which has been organised by Maddie Rose Hills without artist fees or commission - their way of attempting to re-invent the way that artists meet collectors and to champion their work without financial motive.

All production costs are being funded through a Kickstarter campaign. Pledge just £5 and you will get a ticket to the artist talk at 4pm on Saturday 28th September. The talk will be chaired by Duncan Wooldridge; artist, writer and curator. Duncan is Course Director for Fine Art Photography at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. He writes regularly for 1000 Words, Artforum, Art Monthly, and Foam.

Or pledge £15 to get a ticket (and a glass of champagne) to the opening night for an exhibition preview with a group of 50 guests. This is also a chance to meet and speak to the artists.
