Plant-based Palestinian pop-up ‘What the Fattoush?’ will be coming to The Old Nun’s Head pub in Nunhead to dish up 100% vegan Palestinian plates with 10% of the profits being donated to SkatePal, a Palestinian youth-focused NGO.

Every Thursday and Friday for six consecutive weeks from 6pm-10pm What the Fattoush? Will be slinging fully loaded seitan fatbreads, cheesy fatteh with Gazan guac (Middle Eastern style nachos) and deep fried olives with labneh.

Jessica Howe and Megan Maule - co-founders of What the Fattoush? - were taught to cook authentic Middle Eastern food by camp residents when volunteering at refugee camps across Europe and Palestine. Since then, What the Fattoush? has traded with Kerb, Street Feast and Fat Gay Vegan!

Jess and Meg work with charities advocating Palestinian human rights and donate 10% profit to SkatePal, an NGO supporting young people in Palestine through skateboarding.
