Kanpai Sake Bar
Duo team and couple Tom and Lucy opened Kanpai - London’s first Sake brewery in 2017 after a successful crowdfunding campaign inspired by a trip they took to Japan years earlier where they first sampled the Japanese beverage.
The Kanpai Peckham brewery which makes Sake - an alcoholic Japanese rice wine, made by fermenting rice expanded its operations and opened a Sake tap-room bar above their micro distillery in Peckham.
The Kanpai Taproom open Fridays and Saturdays serves up a range of Sake drinks including Sake inspired cocktails as well as Japanese whiskey, gin and craft beers. You can also choose from a selection of Japanese snacks and ramen to accompany your sake tipple.
If you fancy a snoop around the Kanpai brewery in Peckham then you can book a Sake brewery tour & tasting for £25. Taking place every Saturday 12-1pm (you need to book in advance) where you will get the opportunity to discover each precise stage of sake making with our Head Brewer, followed by a sake tasting of the range.
