Bar OM: Vietnamese seafood and cocktail bar - NOW CLOSED
At the beginning of this year Choumert Road in Peckham welcomed Bar OM to the neighbourhood. The new Vietnamese seafood and cocktail bar in Peckham serves small plates (think Vietnamese tapas style) like seafood spring rolls (£6), fried Vietnamese pork sausage (£5.80) and grilled octopus (£8). There is also a tasty selection for the veggie diners like avocado summer rolls (£4.50), fried tofu salad (£7) and oyster mushroom salad (£6.80).
Bar OM (Aum) - which is named after the vibration that is traditionally chanted at the beginning and end of a yoga session, is based around the concept of Nhậu, which means to go for a drink with friends, socialise, have fun and eat some food - we’re down with that.
This local Peckham bar offers a variety of beers like Kona Big Wave (£5) on tap and of course Saigon and Hanoi beer. There is also a tasty selection of soft drinks from freshly squeezed juices like Guava (£2) and lychee (£2) to Vietnamese coffee (£3) plus a cocktail menu coming soon - for updates give them a follow on Insta.
