Prince of Peckham
Prince of Peckham just off Peckham high street opened in May 2017. Replacing the Clayton Arms with a fresh new refurb and promise of live music and event nights - which it has since lived up to. This fresh South London pub founded by Clement Ogbonnaya hosts regular late-night music events as well as incorporating the traditional values of a great boozer.
The downstairs is a traditional style pub with a kitchen serving up Caribbean-inspired food run by White Men Can't Jerk. On Saturdays the Caribbean-inspired chefs lay on a bottomless brunch and on Sundays there is a jerk-inspired roast. The upstairs is used to host regular exhibitions and music events.
Every Friday and Saturday Prince of Peckham is open late until 2.30am playing Hip Hop, R&B and Afrobeats until the early hours. On Tuesdays, you can opt-in for mates & dates night - 2 buns and fries to share for £15. Also, Happy hour is Mon-Fri 6pm-8pm, £5 on listed cocktails.
Oh, and their ethos? 'To create a pub where old Peckham and new Peckham can enjoy' Nice!
