The new Peckham bar: Funkidory

The newly opened Funkidory is the latest bar to pop up in Peckham. The cosy, independent cocktail bar run by two local residents sits on the same same stretch of Rye Lane as the popular Banh Banh Vietnamese restaurant, 2 girls cafe, the newly opened One and All cafe and Batch bar.

This new Peckham bar is an intimate space featuring a comfy lounge area, a handful of tables and a small bar serving up some innovative cocktails like Kool Herc; appleton special, wary rums, supermalt, plantain, coconut cream, spices (£7.50). Or you can choose a local tipple; like Peckham Pils beer from Brick Brewery, sparkly sake by Kanpai, sparkly Mead by Gosnells or pick Little Bird Gin - a gin distilled in Peckham.

Funkidory bar promises to serve up ‘stereophonic funk producing’ disco inducin’ vibes’ - worth popping in for. This Peckham cocktail den is open Tues - Sunday, open until midnight on Fri/Saturday. You can contact the bar directly for private events or cocktail classes!
