Mr Bao: New vegan menu!

Vegan steamed bun fans rejoice!

The contemporary Taiwanese-style restaurant Mr Bao in Peckham which serves a variety of mouth-watering steamed buns has upped its game by introducing a dedicated vegan menu! Yessss. Looks like Mr Bao is getting more and more vegan customers, so like any good restaurant- it’s catering to the demand - we want VEGAN buns and we want them now!

Vegan’s customers can choose from Ginger braised tofu buns with house kimchi and crispy onions (£4.60) or the Shiitake mushroom bun with soy mayo (£4.60). The vegan food menu also serves Mr Bao’s popular sweet potato chips but now with vegan siracha mayo (£3.10).

Mr Bao promises that the vegan menu will continue to grow for their customers with a plant based diet. Hurrah.

As most locals know Mr Bao in Peckham is hugely popular often with queues - but, you can now reserve a table! They save a few tables for walk ins, if it is full, you can put your name down and grab a drink at one of the local watering holes like Rye pub or Batch bar opposite whilst you wait.
