Local food bank in Peckham

It is a bloody hard time for everyone right now so where we can, let’s help each other out - you can pop down on Saturdays to Rye Hill Hall, parallel to Peckham Rye park to drop off some non perishable items like tinned food, toilet roll and sanitary products or if you are yourself in need of a few bits you can also collect items you need for you or your family.

This is the time to come together as a community to help out those who need it and/or take the help you might need during this difficult time.

Rye Hill residents association have also set up a Just Giving page to raise money to help support those adversely affected by Covid 19. If you are able to you can make a donation here.

We are a constituted tenants and residents association (TRA) based in Peckham, SE London providing (food aid) support to those adversely affected by Covid 19. This could be because of job loss, furlough, reduced income, self isolating / shielding. We also have many full time students and those unable to claim benefits seeking help also.

Our organisation is formed of unpaid residents from Rye Hill estate, volunteering their time / skills. We've decided to set up a food bank for local residents and the wider community to access emergency food supplies, toiletries, printing and gas / electricity meter top-up support. We have an established and trusted history of supporting our residents.

As a non profit organisation, your donations go directly into the purchase of food, toiletries, credits towards gas / electricity meters, bulk food delivery costs and our utility bills to support the tenants and residents' hall where the food bank is based.

We are open every Monday 11-2pm & Saturday 12-2pm for collections and donations. Our users are residents and neighbours on self referral basis. As long as people can make it to a session, we will help.

We are located - Rye Hill TRA Hall 241 Peckham Rye SE15 3AA
