Kudu restaurant is to open yet another restaurant... this time in Nunhead
If you’re a London foodie then you will most definitely know about the hugely popular South African-inspired eatery Kudu restaurant in Peckham, South East London.
Kudu (named after the species of South African antelope) was an instant hit amongst London foodies leading owners and couple, Amy and Patrick, to go on to open Smokey Kudu, a slick cocktail bar a little further down the road under the arches of Queen’s Road station. There were rumours of a tapas restaurant opening next door to the Kudu restaurant ‘Little Kudu’ however, plans for that changed into Curious Kudu, a private dining room and events space.
So, what’s next for the Kudu Collective? Opening a site in Nunhead of course! Yep, residents in neighbouring village Nunhead can now enjoy the acclaimed South African menu down Nunhead Lane.
Kudu Grill will be taking over the old Babette restaurant site to offer a braai style menu, popular in South African cuisine - grilling food over coals, open fire cooking will be the central feature of this menu says owners Amy and Patrick. We are sure their delicious Kudu bread will also be on the new Kudu Grill menu!
Kudu Grill coming soon to Nunhead, South East London.
