Kudu is taking over Queens Road Peckham: 2 new sites to open this year
The hugely popular South African-inspired eatery Kudu in Peckham is set to open TWO new venues this year!
Kudu (named after the species of South African antelope) was an instant hit amongst London foodies, winning a Bib Gourmand award - one level below a full star - from Michelin inspectors 8 months after it opened.
Kudu is now expanding, by launching Kudu Collective. This will include its signature restaurant plus a new tapas restaurant next door called Little Kudu and a new bar under the bridge called Smokey Kudu - so that’s 3 Kudu venues down Queens Road Peckham!
Kudu restaurant in Peckham is run by couple team Amy and Patrick who say their ‘South African roots inspire our food – whether that’s slow cooking in a potjie pot over hot coals, or baking our delicious Kudu bread.’
The menu which changes regularly with the seasons is centred around small and medium sized plates such as Parmesan churros, brown crab mayo (£5.5), Ricotta nettle agnolotti, english peas, nasturtium leaves (8.5), Confit duck, papi's girolles, celeriac, spring greens (£13) - see the full menu here.
We are super excited to see what Little Kudu has to offer and what creative cocktails we can expect from Smokey Kudu - watch this space for more details of both new openings coming soon.
